As a professionally trained photographer and creative visual artist, my job of telling the most beautiful love stories brings me so much fulfillment and joy. I’m hard-working, yet light-hearted. I love music, movies and most of all, my adorable family. I’m powered by Intelligentsia coffee, green juices filled with crazy superfood concoctions and the thrill of my last mountain bike ride. I love luminous light, beautiful architecture and couples who are deeply in love and who care about creating a magical experience for their wedding day.
What does all of this mean for you? With over nine years of experience documenting beautiful weddings around the globe, you can trust me to never miss those important details, candids and spontaneous moments. You can be sure I’ll direct you effortlessly with a guided approach, to allow for a refined, fine art look that always displays authentic emotion. You can be certain that I feel confident gathering large groups of people for formal family portraits as well as working collaboratively with your other vendors to style and capture all the special details you’ve planned. And you can trust that I have endless energy to always go above and beyond, doing whatever it takes to create a magical image that I know my clients will love.
I’m so honored you’re reading this and have felt a connection to my work.
IF I HAVE A FREE SUNDAY I WOULD SPEND IT
relaxing at home, going mountain biking with my 70-year-old neighbor (yes, he’s awesome!), popping in and out of open houses I have no intention of buying or heading to the beach with the fam.
WHAT I LOVE MOST ABOUT MY JOB IS
meeting and keeping in touch with so many amazing couples whom I would never have gotten to cross paths with if it weren’t for my career. I also love, and take very seriously, the fact that I am solely responsible for providing these couples with tangible memories from their wedding day.
MY MOST MEMORABLE TRAVEL EXPERIENCE WAS
a solo trip I took to Japan a few months before the birth of our daughter. I spent my days photographing Tokyo and Kyoto with my vintage Rolleiflex camera and black and white film, meeting new friends (who I love keeping in touch with to this day), and eating and drinking my way through both cities. An experience I’ll never forget.
IF I COULD GIVE NEWLY ENGAGED COUPLES ONE PIECE OF ADVICE...
it would be to enjoy the ride! Have fun together planning your wedding, don’t stress over the small stuff and remember that, at the end of the day, what will matter is that you’re marrying your best friend. The little details are fun to include, but keep your focus on the big picture and make sure to have lots of fun when your wedding day rolls around!
Images don’t just happen, they’re crafted. Whether it’s being in-the-moment to capture that perfect candid, or saying just the right thing to evoke the ideal reaction, my years of experience have taught me how to navigate all the different aspects of a wedding day so I never miss a moment.
When a bride is getting ready, I’ll sometimes clear the room to help her feel more comfortable. We’ll talk about the couple’s history, a story that makes her smile every time she thinks of him. Their first kiss, the first time they held hands and the overwhelming emotion that came with his proposal. As she opens up about their history, I quietly shoot to get the most authentic smile and joy possible.
When you fly half-way across the world to exchange your vows in the hills of Tuscany and it rains the entire day, I promise I won’t miss the 15 seconds where the sun peeks out. We’ll chase the light. We’ll make the most of it. And I’ll work harder than you can imagine to capture magical images of your whole celebration, rain or shine.
“Greg went above and beyond for us before, during and after our wedding. When I look back on the day, the photos help take me right back to those moments and I can remember every detail all over again. It takes real talent to do that; hands down, he is the best investment we made.”
