When I lived in Culver City, I would constantly talk about how I was dying to shoot a Big Daddy’s Antiques Wedding and, as luck would have it, I was given the chance thanks to this beautiful couple! Big Daddy’s Antiques is an actual antiques retail store selling the most amazing pieces. They host a handful of weddings every year and it makes for a perfect backdrop since they allow you to use the antiques to style your wedding! If you love furniture and accessories with history, this Culver City wedding venue should definitely be on your shortlist!
Paleny + Hrayr are one of the coolest couples I’ve had the pleasure of working with. From our first meeting over lattes at a little coffee shop in Westwood to the big day itself, they were as kind, generous, fun and charming as it gets! Paleny has impeccable style and I knew she’d pull out all the stops for their gorgeous Culver City Wedding! She wore an absolutely incredible lace wedding dress by Lihi Hod, which I still get TONS of questions about all the time and wore a lovely floral headpiece and antique jewelry to match. Their DIY wedding invitations were made with handmade paper, the lush florals included proteas and peonies, and they had a vintage getaway car whisk them away for couples portraits and at the end of the night. Literally everything about this wedding was so gorgeous and fun. I wish we could do it all over again! Congrats P + H on your beautiful wedding and marriage!
Truly such a beautiful bride! I love these getting ready shots of her at the Culver Hotel in downtown Culver City!
How adorable are these sweet flower girls in vintage-inspired dresses and the ring bearer in his little newsboy getup?! These guys were definitely a highlight for guests and me — loved taking photos of them!!
The ceremony took place in Big Daddy’s outdoor patio area with a vintage door backdrop!
A vintage french bottle dryer made for a great display piece for guest escort cards! And I loves the reception space with mismatched vintage tables and beautifully designed tablescapes.
